New Approaches for Minimization of Esops

چکیده

Exclusive-Or Sums-of-Products (ESOPs) own nice properties like small complexity and good testability, but their design is complicated. To solve the problem of exact ESOP minimization, this paper introduces a new normal form for ESOPs of completely specified Boolean functions and studies the properties of this special normal form (SNF). Additional a new approach is introduced allowing to find a minimal ESOP of a strongly incompletely specified Boolean function. Experimental results speak for the new approaches.
